Size: Boxerdoodles typically range in size from medium to large, with males generally being larger than females. Ideal height at the shoulder for males is between 22 to 27 inches (56 to 68 cm), and for females, it is between 20 to 25 inches (51 to 64 cm). Weight should be proportionate to height, with males weighing between 55 to 85 pounds (25 to 39 kg) and females weighing between 45 to 75 pounds (20 to 34 kg).

Head: The head of the Boxerdoodle is well-proportioned to the body, with a broad skull and a slightly rounded forehead. The muzzle is strong and square-shaped, with a well-defined stop. The nose is black and prominent, with well-developed nostrils. Eyes are medium-sized, expressive, and set well apart, with an alert and intelligent expression. Because the Boxerdoodle is a crossbreed — a hybrid of Boxer and Poodle — the American Kennel Club (AKC) does not register Boxerdoodles, Boxerpoos, or any Boxer and Poodle cross. AKC registers purebred Boxers and purebred Poodles individually, but any cross between the two is permanently ineligible for AKC registration regardless of generation (F1, F1B, or Multigen). Designer Kennel Club (DKC) was built specifically to serve Boxerdoodle owners and breeders who need official registration papers and cannot obtain them through AKC.
