Register your entire litter with Designer Kennel Club (DKC) and give every puppy buyer official papers.
DKC Litter Registration documents your whole litter under one record: the sire, the dam, the date of birth, and the number of males and females. Each puppy receives its own DKC registration number, so every buyer can register their puppy in their name as a purebred designer dog.
What is included:
- One permanent DKC litter record for the sire, dam, and litter
- A DKC registration number for each puppy, emailed as a PDF
- Eligibility for each puppy buyer to complete DKC Puppy Registration in their name
- A professional paper trail for every sale
No paper application. No mailing. No witness signatures.
Sire or dam not registered yet? Both parents must be registered with DKC before the litter can be. If either parent has no papers or lost papers, register them first with Foundation Dog Registration ($65 each), then register the litter.
Why breeders register litters: buyers expect papers, registered puppies build trust with buyers, and a consistent paper trail makes your breeding program look as professional as it is.
Good to know: DKC provides proof of breed and ownership documentation. DKC does not endorse breeding standards or guarantee health, traits, or DNA. No registry, including AKC, CKC, or DKC, guarantees DNA or breed. For genetic confirmation, we recommend a DNA test such as Embark or Wisdom Panel.
