Register your new puppy in your name with official Designer Kennel Club (DKC) papers.
DKC Puppy Registration is for puppies that come from a DKC-registered litter. Your breeder gives you the DKC registration number when you bring your puppy home. Enter that number at registration and your puppy is recorded in the DKC registry as a purebred designer dog under your ownership.
What is included:
- Official DKC puppy registration papers, emailed as a PDF
- Your puppy's ownership record in the DKC registry, in your name
- Purebred designer dog classification
- Eligibility to register your puppy's future litters with DKC
No paper application. No mailing. No witness signatures.
Don't have a DKC registration number? If your puppy has no papers, lost papers, or came from an unregistered litter, choose Foundation Dog Registration ($65) instead. It is built for puppies and dogs with no prior registration documents.
Breeder registering a whole litter? Use Litter Registration ($100) first, then share the DKC registration number with each puppy buyer.
Common uses: housing and landlord breed documentation, HOA and apartment requirements, vet records, proof of ownership, and starting a registered breeding program.
Good to know: DKC provides proof of breed and ownership documentation. No registry, including AKC, CKC, or DKC, guarantees DNA or breed. For genetic confirmation, we recommend a DNA test such as Embark or Wisdom Panel.
